Sheridan Hill

Sheridan Hill is a delightful little side trip in the Yankee Hill network of 4x4 trails west of Central City. Looping up and around Sheridan Hill itself, it connects Cumberland Gulch to a point further east on the main Yankee Hill trail. As it crests just short of the summit of the hill, there are spectacular views of the surrounding mountains in all directions. The loose, rocky climbs offer enough difficulty to need 4wd but not so much as to make it too challenging for stock rigs.
