Overview

Used as an alternative route to the nearby Torreys "14er", Grizzly Gulch is a 4X4 road that yields constant adventure to the adventure seeker. Located east of Loveland Ski Area and west of the tiny town of Silver Plume, this offroad trail first passes relics of Colorado's rich mining history. It then takes you deep into the forest towards the foot of Grizzly Peak. This area is popular for hikers in the spring, campers in the summer, hunters in the fall, and skiers in the winter. With the enormous mountains and the soft rumble of the creek, you get a real perspective of what today's Colorado lifestyle is all about - outdoor recreation.
