Overview

Concealed within the western shadow of Fletcher Mountain, Mayflower Gulch is an extremely short but extremely rewarding offroad trail along the southern edge of White River National Forest. It will lead you to the eerie remains of the Boston Mining Camp. Lurking beyond the thick, shady pine forest is a spectacular basin filled with rare wildflowers such as the blueleaf cinquefoil, gorgeous views of the Tenmile Range, and some very well preserved relics from Colorado's booming mining days. This is a great trail for new 4wheelers or for someone looking to make a quick trip to see some very special scenery.
