Overview

Close to Denver, Colorado, this short off-road spur in the southern part of the West Magnolia network offers a great opportunity to extend the day’s adventure or to find a more secluded camping site than you would find on the more popular northern part of the network. It can be combined with South Tennessee Mountain Connector and South Tennessee Mountain to make a fun little side loop off of the Rollinsville trail. You stay mostly in the trees so there are not any sweeping, panoramic views but there is plenty of beauty in the forest itself. You will also see evidence of the area’s mining history as you pass an old mine site with a crumbling log cabin.
