Overview

This out-and-back spur off of Mammoth Gulch, west of Rollinsville, features several nice, large campsites as it makes its way through the thick, picturesque pine forest. The area is quite popular, though, and the sites fill up quickly. As you get higher up the trail, there are a few areas where the forest opens up and you can enjoy outstanding views of the gulch below as well as the surrounding mountains. This trail is a nice little diversion off the main Mammoth Gulch trail or a pleasant destination for a weekend camping excursion
