Bowen Lake Loop

Hidden and relatively unused in the White River National Forest near Glenwood Springs, Colorado, the Bowen Lake 4WD Road takes you through an uplifted highland with gently rolling terrain. There are vasts open grasslands that explode with wildflowers during the summer and in between, there are islands of fir and spruce which you navigate through only to be greeted with yet another field of flowers. Hidden, remote, and relaxed is what you get with this trail.
