Lost Lake leads to the Lost Lake hiking trailhead. There are great views of the Gore Range to the north and some very nice campsites. Most of the road is wide with plenty of ruts and potholes. A large group of campsites is just before the trail buttonhooks back to the left (southwest). After this, the trail becomes a narrow two-track to the hiking trailhead. There is room to park or turn around at the top.
