One of many short spurs off the Dave Wood Trail between Norwood and Montrose, CO. This trail features a large beautiful meadow and a few decent dispersed campsites. Per the MVUM, the trail continues past our Scout Route. However, it quickly becomes overgrown and narrow. The hardest part is a short, somewhat steep grade with enough rock to bounce you around a bit and is the reason for the Moderate difficulty rating. Use caution when conditions are wet. This trail quickly becomes muddy and rutted when heavy rains come through!
