A very short spur off Alta Lakes leads to the smaller Wild Boy Lake. This could be a good option if you are looking for additional fishing or dispersed camp spots away from Alta Lakes proper. Although the MVUM shows the trail leading nearly to the water, it has been blocked off by deliberately placed boulders. You will have to take a short walk to get down to the water.
