Located within the Gunnison BLM district southwest of Gunnison, Table Top Road is a high-speed dirt road that travels through two counties connecting Highway 145 and US 50. Posted speed limit signs are 45 MPH. The road traverses along the west side of Razor Creek Dome and provides access to dozens of other BLM roads in the area, many of which are used primarily for hunting and OHV recreation. This road is a short section of Section 3 (Lake City to Buena Vista) of the Colorado Backcountry Discovery Route (COBDR), a mostly off-road route across the entire state of Colorado from New Mexico to Wyoming.
