The Euclid Gulch trail is a short side trip off of Hayden Pass . The Hayden Pass Hang Gliding Club, Rocky Mt. Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association, and the Foundation for Free Flight have adopted and helped maintain the trail. The route climbs to the upper reaches of Euclid Gulch and ends at a hang gliding launch point. The views of the San Louis Valley from the end of the road are spectacular. The trail doesn't offer many dispersed camping opportunities, but there is one wide spot (see camping photo) near the beginning of the trail suitable for a campsite. Stock high-clearance 4x4 vehicles with low range can complete this trail.
