Buzzard Swamp, FR 157, travels just under 2.5 miles, leading to a parking lot for the Buzzard Swamp hiking trail. The road is hard-packed dirt with intermittent potholes that any vehicle could drive. The motor vehicle use map depicts other roads connecting at the east end, but they are gated off, making this an out-and-back adventure. The route is filled with plenty of flora and fauna and ends at a hiking trailhead and wildlife propagation area. The wildlife area prohibits foot traffic. No camping opportunities along the way.
