Dome Plateau Section 2

Section 2 of the original Dome Plateau Loop travels across the top of the Highlands before quickly dropping down into a rugged and dense tree-lined gulch. In either direction, this section of the iconic route adds a little difficulty when you plan to visit the Dome Plateau Overlook. This route also has access to a lesser-known overlook of the canyon and the Colorado River at Waypoint 4.
