Cienega Creek Loop

Big Bend Ranch State Park is arguably a very remote destination, but some trails within the park are more traveled than others. Cienega Creek Loop is one of the most remote trails in this very remote area. The trail evokes images of Lewis and Clark exploring areas for the first time. Cienega Creek Loop provides adventurous travelers with the opportunity to explore lost trail segments and reclaim them for others to use. Yet even for those a bit more cautious, the route provides extraordinary views along the Cienega Mountains worthy of taking a few moments to pause for self-introspection gazing over the gorge.
