The road is a mix of hardpacked dirt and loose gravel that any vehicle can accomplish. The official Allegheny National Forest road ends at the State Game Lands Number 28 area. Once inside the State Game Lands, the road reaches Spring Creek, offering good angling opportunities and incredible scenery. While the Forest Service road officially ends, it appears to join another road to continue to Big Run Road. Camping opportunities are also scattered along the way.
