Red Gobbler Trail is a short out-and-back trail spurring off Strongs Improvement Road. Red Gobbler is considered one of Bald Eagle State Park's "Drivable Trails" open for use by licensed motor vehicles. The trail receives no regular maintenance, so the park recommends 4WD. Although the trail is easy, there are a few spots where water seems to gather and could create small mud puddles. During the Fall, this trail shows off its colors, with certain trees turning an almost neon green! The trail ends at a permanent gate to a private property line, but there is room to turn around.
