Waldo's Way / Tillamook State Forest

Waldo's Way is a short but fun trail through a stand of second growth forest along a ridge line. During storms, it can be an exciting time to travel on Waldo's Way with strong winds buffeting the trees and forest floor. In recent years, the trail has become more rutted in some areas which is beginning to impede passage for stock vehicles. But that only means that when Waldo's Way gets wet, it gets more fun for stock vehicles. Try taking a run at the ruts and a stock vehicle just might slide through them. Regardless of road conditions, Waldo's Way is a beautiful little stretch of dirt trail through the Tillamook State Forest.
