Betty Brook Road is the offroad gem of Burnt-Rossman Hills State Forest, offering a bit of challenge and a few of the nicest dispersed camping spots in this area of New York. A 4WD vehicle with a transfer case will have no issues traversing this trail. The best way to run this trail would be south to north, as the trail is mostly uphill in the northerly direction. While this trail is rated easy, it is more challenging than the other "easy" rated trails. A 2WD vehicle will struggle on this trail, especially when wet.
