Mica Dome

Mica Dome is located in the beautiful and diverse Boise National Forest. The forest offers skiing, hiking, camping, fishing, boating, and hunting, to name a few activities. This trail is on a short ridge running north towards the south fork of the Payette River. This area was known for mica mining in the early 1900s, and both trails you'll travel through to get here are still actively mined for gold with evidence of claims posted along Wash Creek, and Horn Creek.
