When open, Snow Slide is an easy route that takes you from Green Valley Lake to Fawnskin. The route is mostly used to get to Butler Peak. Unfortunately, the trail is susceptible to washouts, meaning it is often closed.
The trail has Yellow Post and Group Campsites. There are plenty of places to camp in this forest wonderland.
