Crystal Mountain Peak

This quickly ascending trail branches off from the popular "Winona Auto Tour" in the heart of the Ouachita National Forest and takes you to the peak of Crystal Mountain. From the summit, prepare to enjoy a spectacular view of Lake Winona. You can easily see the cuts through forest below from the multiple creeks flowing in and out of the lake. The summit makes a great spot to star gaze at night, as there isn't a man made light for miles. The winter might be a little chilly, since there's nothing to block the wind.
