Are you looking for a less traveled option to avoid backtracking on Franconia Road? 4348 is a great option that runs between Franconia Road and 4359. This single-lane trail offers a change in scenery and road conditions as it winds through the valley floor above the wash. Keep an eye out for rocks arranged in a line in the wash below - evidence of past prospectors who manually stacked them to follow the gold streaks in the wash.
